Review Award!!!
To help generate
needed reviews on resorts that either lack current reviews or resorts
which only have older reviews, we are awarding Special Review awards (
these will count the same as a referral award and can be used for
either a 6 month membership extension or a free classified ad
). Also note we have enacted a new permanent review award for

Best of the Quarterly Resort Review Award - Each quarter we pick the best of
these new reviews and award the reviewer a free 3 year memebership renewal to TUG! (note
we previously were able to provide an exchange banked week, but due to
the difficulty of finding a week someone wanted to use, and the ever
decreasing available inventory we are able to access...users were
simply not able to effectivly utilize this award...so now starting in
2009 we will simply grant a 36 month membership extension as a thank
you for being chosen!)
To qualify for this review
award, the review must be detailed in the resort information and it
must be for a resort that either does not have existing reviews or the
last review posted is at least 6 months old. If the review is
qualified, the reviewer will receive the new resort review
award. If the review is not quite award standard, we will ask
the reviewer to expand it so they can qualify for this award.
Current
Results
We
have rewarded over 2200 Resort Review Awards to our
current members who have taken the extra effort to provide in-depth
reviews of resorts that we needed updated input. That works out to over
1100 years worth of Free memberships awarded or 2100+ free
classified ads. Let's keep them coming.

for everyone's support on this effort to improve our TUG reviews.
The
main reason I started this group over 14 years ago was to provide a
place that individuals owners could exchange information about the
resorts they have visited. I had a bad exchange prior to TUG and now
hopefully because of our review database no other member will ever have
to go to a resort without knowing what it is really like. The reviews
are the heart and soul of our group so please keep them coming even if
they are not qualified for this new award. Everyone has different
viewpoints and observations and the more resort reviews we have the
better it is for all of us.
Why become a
TUG member?
There is an
extended TUG resort reviews database here on this web site available
only to TUG members. There are over 4000 resorts covered by this
database now and growing weekly. The reviews also include pictures of
the resorts, general resort information and a list of owners' email
addresses who are willing to answer additional questions regarding the
resorts not covered by the detailed reviews. This is a quick
way to see how our members rate the resorts which they have actually
stayed at. It has become a valuable source of information to use when
planning for exchanges.
